With its cut-out star shape radiating from the base of a pillar candle, this 18 karat gold plated candleholder makes a stunning table centrepiece at Christmas, perhaps even holding an advent candle. The angled points of the star catch the warm glow of the candlelight giving a sense of iridescent beauty to the graphic shape.
- Created by Georg Jensen collaborator Flemming Eskildsen in 1952, the gold star tree topper has become an iconic part of many Christmas collections. The mix of traditional imagery and Scandinavian modernism of its design has now been translated to festive tableware and home decorations.
- The candleholder is artfully crafted from stainless steel that is then plated with 18 karat gold. It fits pillar candles up to Ø70 mm.
